The NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap provides eligible households with a significant subsidy on battery storage. Here's what you need to know before the rules change.
What Is the Rebate?
Eligible NSW homeowners can receive a rebate of up to $14,541 off the installed cost of a home battery system before 1 May 2026. The rebate is applied directly at point of sale — you never see the full price. It's funded by the NSW Government to accelerate the transition to clean energy and reduce grid strain during peak periods.
When Does It Change?
The rebate drops significantly on 1 May 2026 — from up to $14,541 down to up to $6,327 for batteries only. Installations contracted and deposited before the deadline are protected at the higher rate. Acting now could save you over $8,000 compared to waiting.
What to Expect
After you submit your quote request, our team will visit your property, assess your roof, switchboard, and energy usage, then design a system that maximises your rebate entitlement. We handle all the paperwork — you simply sign off on the design and we take care of the rest, from council notifications to grid connection.
